Bizzey gooit first pitch voor kwartfinale op 25 september

Niemand minder dan Bizzey, bekende Nederlandse hiphopartiest en honkballiefhebber, gooit op donderdag 25 september de first pitch voor de kwartfinale van het EK Honkbal. Team Kingdom of the Netherlands speelt op die dag, als het zich plaatst voor de kwartfinale, om 19.30 uur en vlak voor de start van die wedstrijd gooit Bizzey dus de ceremoniële eerste bal. Eerste blindentribune tijdens een EK Honkbal

20 september 2025 wordt een historische dag in de honkbalwereld. Voor het eerst ooit bij een internationaal honkbalevenement wordt een speciale blindentribune ingericht, waarmee blinden en slechtzienden op een volwaardige manier live topsport kunnen ervaren. En dat gebeurt niet zomaar ergens – maar tijdens de openingsdag van het Europees Kampioenschap Honkbal in het iconische Neptunus Stadion.
